A great read if you want to get an in-depth look at what life was like in Medieval England, presented in an informative and often amusing way. I bought this as an audio book and found it to be an irresistible listen. At nearly 12 hrs it was a great traveling companion on the way to work.
The Vikings a New History
A fantastic read if you are looking for a deeper understanding of the Vikings. Written by Neil Oliver a well known freelance archaeologist, his passion for this subject comes through in every page of the book. I highly recommend the audio book for it brings the history of the Vikings to life!
